College Cliques
"The Sorority Girls": This is obvious. Greek life is a big thing on most college campus' that I toured and have heard about. But, these girls are in a clique because the girls that aren't in their sorority are already shunned out. They carry around bags with their letters on them; an attention bringer. It's all about the parties they go to, the guys they fuck, and how much alcohol they consume in one night. The small, yet still substantial, philantrohpy events they hold are something that keeps their image held high in the "grown up world". These are the girls that you will rarely find alone, and when you do find them alone you best believe they are on their cell phones talking about who danced with who last night. They run in packs which smiles plastered on to their face and uggs on their feet. They are the death of me. And, I will never be one of them!
"The Frat Guys": Another obvious. I've already wrote a blog about them so you can read about them there. Keep having your kegs and fucking those nasty girls. Pass around the STDs like their nobody's business.
"The Party People": I suppose you could say that I'm in this clique, because I party. I don't go to the BCM or christian ministires on thursday nights for "alternative fun". I drink. I smoke weed. I party. These are the people that choose to use their college freedom to meet new people and drink while doing so! The greek community can obviously fit into this category as well. But, this group is different because we AREN'T in a greek community. We are american. Not greek. And, we don't wear greek letters that "define us". What defines most of these people are what alcohol they carry into a party, and if they payed for it themselves. They miss classes due to hangovers or just the fact that they dont think the attendance policy means them as well.
"The Squares": I just felt like bringing back this old school term because I always loved it. These people go to the dance theater on thursday night because they don't go to parties. They go to what we call on my campus "CRU" Campus Crusade for Christ has been shortened to Cru for some reason. Believe me, they won't talk to you about your partying happens, they act like it doesn't happen. My roommate is one of these, and when I stroll in at three in the morning she acts like I didn't wake her up when I drop my purse onto the floor and kick off my heels and one lands in her bed. It didn't happen. Because "why would anyone go to college for any other reason but to learn?"
"The Hotties": Personally, for me, these are the people I see on campus that are BEAUTIFUL and I just don't know anything about them. They are mysterious and I can't really explain it in any other way.
"The Foreigners": Now, this is an obvious name. These are the people that I see on campus and NOWHERE else BUT campus. Are they here to learn, of course. But, do they have a social life? Because, believe me, I've never seen anyone other then black or white people at the parties I go to. Maybe they hold asian only parties and I'm obviously not inivted. This is a crew that I'm going to have to investigate a little more.
Now that I put these cliques down onto webpage...I'm not sure they make much sense. There are so many different kinds of people on campus, but you best believe that we still got those cliques and they are held highly in my mind.

Halloween On Campus
DISCLAIMER: I made sure to X out all the faces because there are people I actually know in this picture and I don't want any feelings hurt. Plus, this was a party I actually attended.Halloween takes on a complete different form when you mix in college students and beer. Add some costumes, subtract most of the fabric, and you got yourself a Halloween party. There were many parties for me to participate on this particular holiday and I went to most of them. Over 4 parties to be exact. That’s how many I went to, and only one did I get drunk enough to tell people “I got pretty drunk” and it was a complete blast. So, PRAISE that wonderful Halloween party I went to that had 2 kegs and a huge container of hooch (do you know what that is? Or is it just a redneck thing?). But, as I was saying Halloween is a whole other ballgame for college students. It’s all about the costumes that girls are wearing and how much skin they can get by with showing. Now, there were many girls competiting for that title at the party that I went to. I saw pimps with their hookers, a girl scout, and many one piece bathing suit clad women claiming to be some type of animal. I saw cops, bees, witches, and even a set of girls dressed up as “the case holders” for Deal or No Deal. The difference between the childhood and college versions of the holiday are very specific and easy to see. The reason my school and friends make it such a big deal is because it is an excuse to party and see women with the littlest amount of clothing on possible. Now, I know a few people that get completely trashed on a regular weekend basis. But, on Halloween… I see more drunk people then you could imagine. People going too far, drinking stronger drinks, and drinking way past their normal limits. This weekend I saw hookups in the middle of a dance floor, intercourse in the woods, and I myself got a little frisky in a pickup truck (hey, I can’t lie!!). Halloween is just a bad of an excuse to party as beer pong is known as the international party game.
The funniest things about Halloween that I noticed this year were the things I did, the places I went, and the fact that Halloween is one of the biggest times to see men act like children. Obvisouly, we have already discussed how girls dress on Halloween but when it comes to guys wardrobe I saw many interesting and amazing costumes. A simple red shirt with “To: Women From: God” and a bow on a guy’s head. I saw a best friend group dressed as the twin towers (with the word tribute on the front. It was tasteful. Funny. Not a mean outfit), a scarecrow, a Mexican (with an authentic sombrero), and even an amazingly hot transvestite. I love watching silly guys run around in their outfits, beer in hand. So, Halloween. Is it something that we should keep for children to get candy? Or, will it always be this big excuse to party? Will I be a 35 year old women wondering what the hell my daughter is wearing out to a Halloween party (a Halloween get together she will most likely tell me)? Ah, I won’t know till it happens will I?
Thank you and I’m out..

College Girl's Stance On DUDES!
For the record, this photo is of myself and my friend DanceMan. I just wanted to let everyone know I didn't want to post a picture of someone I was about to discuss. So, on to the discussing!
This blog is obviously about dudes. But, not just any dudes. These college dudes that I have myself surrounded by. I meet different ones daily, and I enjoy that. I enjoy knowing many people, and having friends that are guys has always been my forte. But, in a more serious than friends way I have also met many guys. Ever since this summer, I have had many stories. Horrible, hilarious, psycho, and some just normal. So, just out of humor, and boredom I'm going to update you on some situations college has put me through already.
First, there was Mr. GreekWeed. We had consistently been together over the whole summer. "Together" is something that I'm going to let you imagine, because it can mean many things and just depends on the reader. Either way, there were no problems with Mr. GreekWeed. A junior in the same department as myself (Education), an active member of Theta Chi, and a very established drug dealer. I'm not even sure if that's possible in my small town but for my town; Mr. GreekWeed was established as they could get. Now, the only drug he ever dealt with was weed and being with him meant free of charge smoking all the time. Smoke. Hook up. Then smoke again. That was our routine and it worked perfectly. I never worried about where he was, or what was going on because it was summer and it was all about having fun. I even remember a day when Mr. GreekWeed brought me some lunch to work. JimmyJohn's was his workplace, and I loved those tuna subs! Mr. GreekWeed provided me with what I needed. Attention and weed. Things went bad in the end, and you'll find out that soon enough.
Then, there were some less significant guys who entered my life and I plan on making their explanations short. There was Abercrombie Model who worked for Abercrombie and was drop dead gorgeous. We hooked up once and now he's dating a girl they call "Texas". I like to call her "Tex gotta fat ass" under my breath when she passes. But, that's for my own amusement. There was FratMan, but I really feel like I shouldn't make that a past tense thing because, we still talk, it's just not a big deal anymore. We hooked up once and he felt guilty (by the way, "hook up" in my terms does not mean S.E.X.) because he felt like he used me. He's apart of Sigma Nu and is actually a sweet frat guy that I will always say breaks the stigma I have of frat guys. FratMan and I are actually really close friends now. Then there was Mr. Marine, who ended up totally playing me. And, I really don't think he is worth my words. Last, but not least, is The Creeper. At first he wasn't a creeper but you best believed he went from nice guy I thought I could date into total creeper in one night. And let alone with just one text message. Now, he texts me non-stop, apologizes for things he never did wrong, tells me how much he likes me (we have hung out 3 times), and HATES that I talk to other guys. He officially has blown up on one of my friends asking "what the fuck my deal was". How sweet? HOW FUCKING CREEPY? He has continued to try and get in touch with me. Sometimes, he's outside my dorm in that black S-10 of his.
And, there will always, always be (no matter what) The Ex. He is a very important part of my life because he was my first serious and messy relationship; something with substance. With over a year under our belt, it's a little hard to completely leave each other. I think there has hardly been a time period more than 3 weeks where we haven't talked. Even when I had my new boyfriend. And even when he had his new girlfriend. The Ex and I went through cheating, lying, and skipping out on hospital visitations. Thinking I was completely over him after he refused to come see me in the hospital after my motocycle wreck, I began trying to be his friend. And, we've "been together" ever since college started. With a new attitude, a sweeter outlook on life, and just most things a lot better, there is a lot changing and with all these guys in and out of my life, I feel like the only consistent (and at least not crazy!) one is The Ex.
Thankyou, and I'm out
Oh, BY THE WAY, I think I will only have one man in my life for awhile.

and that is him :) My beautiful nephew, BeeBoo

Don't Mess with the Bro Code!
